Our Journey

Chaplains Jonathan and Shena Carey - Our Journey

In 1982, we entered full-time ministry as home missionaries on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas and throughout the years served in various places and positions.

In 2003, we embraced the ministry assignment given to us by the Lord. For us, it was The CTC Network. A ministry providing biblical principles to the mountains of culture. Throughout the years, the Lord has tweaked the vision, and our commitment is to continue to have an ear bent toward the voice of the Holy Spirit. Today the Network is registered in four nations.

Missional Chaplaincy

In 2017, during the aftermath of Hurricane Irma in the Florida Keys, we housed teams from the Billy Graham RRT and Samaritan's Purse for twelve weeks. Our interaction with these two organizations and the workings of the Holy Spirit in our hearts birthed the Hope Plaza in The Bahamas. The vision of helping others prepare effectively for seasons of crisis, and to ready themselves for eternity became our missionary focus.
